Hello friends.
I just wanted to jot a quick note to let you know (and to remind myself) why exactly I am starting this blog. I am starting this design/inspiration/advice/friendship blog for all the people who cannot go and spend 1000.00 on a scrapbook room. For all the ladies out there who are actually on a budget and it is less than 50.00 a month to spend on scrapbooking. I cleaned up one of my storage things tonight (which I was excited about because it opened up TONS more storage opportunities for me) to which my husband responds, "Great, now we have more space to buy more crap..."
So yes, scrapping is not my families favorite way to spend money so I have devised ways to have beautiful pages for less than people who have stuff donated to them.
Dont get me wrong, I would love for one of those fancy schmancy scrapbook companies come and donate a bunch of stuff that I will happily give to as many people as I can, but I dont want this blog to be about that. I want it to be taking their beautiful pages, and making them affordable! WITH THE STUFF YOU ALREADY HAVE!!! I will try my hardest to make sure you do not have to buy anything that isn't absolutely necessary.
That being said. I will start off the next post with a list of what I have found to be NECESSARY when starting ANY scrap project. They are the things like scissors, papercutter, etc.
I really hope you all enjoy this and we can scrap for less together. Keep all ideas coming! I am looking forward to hearing them!
